FitLibre

Your training log, on your device.

Meals, sessions, weight and trends, stored on your phone and fully usable with the wifi off. There is no account to make, no sync you did not ask for, and no server of mine holding any of it. Libre, as in yours.

What it refuses to do.

Most of the work on FitLibre has been deciding what to leave out. These three came closest to being built, and each one is on the public list with the reason it stopped.

No account

Open the app and start logging. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to verify, nothing to delete later.

an account is only useful to the person collecting them

No feed

No followers, no reactions, no sessions from strangers. The log is for you to read, not to perform.

parked deliberately, and not coming back

No streaks

Miss a day and nothing breaks, nothing resets, and nothing tells you off. You can also backfill yesterday in two taps.

Your assistant can write to it. From your machine, not mine.

Say "log the 5k I just ran" to Claude and it lands in today's session, properly structured. Ask what you ate on Tuesday and it reads the answer out of your own log. This works because FitLibre ships a small MCP server that runs on your computer, beside your data, rather than in a datacentre beside everyone else's.

What this does not do

It does not work with ChatGPT on the web, or with Claude in a browser tab. Those run on someone else's machines and cannot reach a server sitting on your desk. That is the trade, and it is deliberate.

A hosted version would fix it and would also break the promise at the top of this page, so it is not built. If it ever is, it will be something you switch on per device, and the app will keep a visible log of everything an assistant wrote.

Where everything lives.

The whole answer, on one screen, because this is the question the app exists to answer.
